Le Seltzer - Amaro
We've teamed up with Danny Smiles, celebrated Montreal chef behind Double's and the recently opened Le Violon, to create Le Seltzer Amaro. Amaro, which simply means "bitter" in Italian, is known for its unique and robust combination of herbaceous bitterness, orange zest and quinine. It has long been a staple of aperitivo culture in Italy. And here in Montreal, it's commonplace to see locals sipping red Italian bitters from small, slender bottles on cafĂ© terrasses. Le Seltzer Amaro is our take on this classic, a nonalcoholic drink with all the attributes of a spirit, perfect for a booze-free happy hour or a picnic of antipasti. Drink it out of the can or, better yet, pour it over ice and dress it up with an orange slice!Â
As an added touch, the Le Seltzer Amaro can sports the colours of Chef Smiles' favourite football club, AS Roma. Great to sip on between chants of "DAJE ROMA!"
